Last but certainly not least, here's Gallup!
Obama (D) 51%
McCain (R) 42%
This is an all-time high for Obama in Gallup Daily, just like Obama hitting an all-time high of 52-44 in the Rasmussen Tracker today. All Obama needs to do is perform well in tonight's debate and continue connecting with the voters on the issues that matter... And he wins! :-)

Wating for His Bounce
The two daily tracking polls appear to suggest that Senator McCain has not realized a bounce yet from his convention:
Rasmussen suggests that with leaners, Obama leads McCain 50 to 45. Gallup actually has McCain down one point since his convention began. While they tracked the race before at Obama, 49 to McCain, 43, they now call it Obama, 49 to McCain, 42. That's statistical noise, of course, but I like the tune all-the-same.

Gallup Sez: Our Poll Madness Is Out of Control
Obama 45%
McCain 43%
Yes, it's true. Gallup doesn't lie. The sky isn't falling. But no, we're not being raptured up to heaven either. Obama's still slightly ahead of McCain, even as he's going through a rough patch.
We'll survive. And if Obama & Democrats get back on the offense, we'll make it much easier for ourselves to win this fall. :-)

Gallup Sez... No Mo' McMentum?
Check this out. The numbers don't lie:
Obama 46%
McCain 43%
It may not seem like much, but it's quite BIG movement to go from an exact tie to a 3 point lead in one day. I guess we should give the American people a little more credit for being able to see through BS. Maybe McBush was able to fool Rick Warren & a few thousand wingnut fundies with his "straight talk" talking points, but I guess it isn't enough for him to take any lead.
Haha. Karma's a bitch. ;-)
