ABC-WaPo is in, and here are today's numbers:
Obama (D) 52%
McCain (R) 44%
No change from yesterday. And again, no clear evidence of "tightening". McCrazy wants to believe that victory is in his reach, but it's now our job to make sure it doesn't get anywhere near him.
So far, so good. ;-)

ABC-WaPo Sez: No McSurge Here!
ABC-Washington Post is in the hizzy! And oooh yeah, it shizzles my bodizzle! ;-)
Obama (D) 54%
McCain (R) 43%
Oh yes, and what did they also say? That voters' confidence in Obama's ability to be Commander in Chief is now equal to that of Bill Clinton's in 1992? HELL TO THE YEAH!
And the McTrolls say McBush is in a "McSurge" because one outlier AP poll has f*cked up results with REALLY f*cked up internals? Eh, let 'em have their AP outlier. I'll take all the trackers reporting today... Even Zogby!
So should we get complacent? NO. But should we now worry about some nonexistent "McSurge"? NO! Keep working hard, and all these good polls will come true. ;-)

Update by DCDemocrat: The Post observes:
Former secretary of state Colin Powell's endorsement provides a new boost for Obama, who has made significant progress with voters as a leader in international affairs. But Obama also continues to be lifted by more fundamental advantages, including a 2 to 1 advantage on "helping the middle-class."

ABC-WaPo Tracking Poll Debuts
I guess we should now get used to one new tracker on the block: ABC Washington-Post. From now on, it looks like they'll be the last tracker of the day & the first newspaper poll that will now be daily.
Let's take a look at their first results for today:
All Registered Voters-
Obama (D) 52%
McCain (R) 42%
Likely Voters-
Obama (D) 53%
McCain (R) 44%
Wow. So much for that "McSurge". And with the Colin Powell endorsement now just starting to be factored in, this may not be the "good week" that McBush wanted.

ABC-WaPo Sez: Obama Jumps Ahead!
Wow! The Washington Post & ABC have some shocking new poll numbers out. Are you sitting down? You should be!
Obama (D) 52%
McCain (R) 43%
Now how can this be? Simple, really. It's the economy, stupid!
Obama has a 2-1 lead with "economy voters". Overall, most voters see the reality of the faltering economy. And once again, this is what's moving people to Obama's message of change.
Still, that's not the only good news for Democrats. Obama has also gained ground on foreign affairs and the Iraq Occupation. This really calls into question the media's assertion that McCain is "strong on foreign policy". Perhaps the "Pain in Spain for McCain" disaster is now hitting home, and/or voters are waking up to the reality that his stance on Iraq is no different from Bush's.
This may make for an interesting debate on Friday. If Obama proves his foreign policy bona fides while also keeping the economy front and center at the debate, perhaps the convential wisdom on "The Great McDebater" will have to be thrown out the window. ;-)

Virginia? YES. WE. CAN!
ABC-WaPo confirms what we've all been hoping for...
Obama 49%
McCain 46%
Wow! And why is Obama taking the lead in Virginia? Apparently, the economy has become Issue #1 here. And on the economy, most voters here prefer Obama over McCain.
Virginia is now officially a top swing state. Virginia & Colorado may very well end up being the states that decide the next President. Obama seems to have an edge in Colorado, and he's now forging ahead in Virginia. If we can win both states for Obama, we'll likely have a fantastically easy victory on November 4. :-)
