Kirstin Gillibrand

The New York Times reports that Governor David Paterson will name Representative Kirsten Gillibrand as the successor to Hillary Clinton in the United States Senate. Gillibrand apparently enjoys great respect among Democrats who know her, but she is little known outside of her home region. Here are some videos to get you acquainted with her:
