Secretary-Designate Clinton and Secretary Rice Meet

The Associated Press is reporting that Hillary Clinton and Condoleeza Rice ate supper last evening at Ms. Rice's apartment in the Watergate. Though they have know each other since the 1990s, this meeting was their first since Barack Obama named Hillary as his designated Secretary of State. AP reports:

Rice and Clinton enjoyed a private two-hour catered meal of sea bass, wild rice, mushroom soup and fruit.

The two women discussed the nation's foreign policy issues and challenges as Obama ascends to the presidency.
