Two important decisions go Franken's way
The Minnesota Canvassing Board decided two issues today that will benefit Franken in the ongoing battle to count all the votes. The first of these two decisions was to include in the vote tally the 133 votes that were lost; this decision nets Franken an addition 46 votes. The second decision was the recommendation that counties should count absentee ballots that were wrongly rejected; polls showed Franken strongly led in the absentee ballots overall, so there is little reason to believe he would have trailed in this smaller but random sample of absentee ballots.
