McCain and W. (the Movie, That is)

John McCain was in New York last evening to do a fund raiser. He stepped out of his hotel into the glare of the opening of "W." "W." is Oliver Stone's unflattering portrait of the wastrel who stole the presidency and currently is preparing to retire to well-deserved ignominy. CNN reports:

There, next to his motorcade, was the Ziegfeld Theatre, the venue for the New York red carpet debut of "W" . . . . A reporter present at the scene was not able to gauge McCain's reaction to the sight as he hopped into his SUV and sped off across Manhattan to meet his running mate Sarah Palin at the finance event.
