Washington Post Poll Shows Obama by Eight in Virginia

The Washington Post publishes a poll this morning that suggests Barack Obama enjoys an eight-point advantage over John McCain among voters in the Old Dominion. The geographic and social relationship of Washington to Virginia and The Washington Post to Virginians are very close, so of all the polls published to date about the match-up in Virginia, I am inclined to take this poll very seriously:
