The trackers are going to come to this site a little piecemeal today. Zogby is out first, as it is every morning. Zogby's three day rolling tracking poll sees the race this way as of last evening:
Obama 49
McCain 44
It is interesting that Zogby has seen McCain at 44% or below now for a week; Obama has been at 49% or more during the same period.
Zogby's data for his Saturday polling saw McCain improving among white voters. Whether this is a real phenomenon or the ephemera of weekend polling will take several days of trend analysis to determine. Last weekend, Obama's numbers sagged in the Saturday sample (reported Sunday morning) only to recover on Sunday (reported on Monday) and improved throughout the week.
