Obama edges McCain in North Dakota

A poll by Forum Mobile suggests Barack Obama edges John McCain in the Peace Garden State:

Obama 45
McCain 43
Undecided 12

Economy voters by a comfortable margin, that is, 49 to 38, support Obama over McCain. The poll also suggests another problem for McCain in the Roughrider State:
McCain has failed to solidify his hold on the GOP base in North Dakota, where he has the support of just 73 percent of voters identifying themselves as strong Republicans.
The Public Affairs Institute of Minnesota State University Moorhead conducted telephone surveys of 606 likely voters in North Dakota. "The poll, with a sample weighted for age, has a margin of error of plus or minus 4 percentage points."
