Todd Palin lobbied for years to fire his former brother-in-law

The Anchorage Daily News is reporting that Todd Palin, the husband of Governor Sarah Palin, for several years waged a campaign to have his former brother-in-law, Michael Whooten, fired from his position as an Alaska State Trooper. These efforts started prior to Governor Palin's election as governor and increased after her election. Governor Palin, of course, is under investigation for an abuse of her power in relationship to the question.
